So, I'm a bit behind on this so I'm going to make up for it in one post.

This was an marigold in our garden; I really love the bright orange color & they help keep the bugs away!

This is our first "child" Murray or as the girls call him "MoMo". He's getting so grey in the face; he'll be 9 in September. I remember bringing him home in a cardboard box, he was only 6wks old. Adam & I had to take turns sleeping on the floor next to him when he was a pup because he would cry all night if we didn't.

My girls were teaching themselves how to golf this evening in the back yard. Thank goodness they didn't break anything!

The tomatoes in the garden are finally beginning to bloom. The light was just right in the evening, so of course here I am lying on Addy's beach towel in the dirt of the garden trying to get the right angle so that I could get that perfect evening light; man my knees are killing me!

This weekend I decided to play w/ my macro lens. I used a 60mm macro 2.8; which I ♥ so much! Since Adam hasn't mowed the yard yet I figured I would take advantage of that w/ the little white clover flowers. lol Hope you had a great weekend back to the grind tomorrow.

So, I'm a little late w/ yesterday's picture but it was too late when I got home. This picture was taken at the levy right behind the softball fields. Addy has been dragging me up this thing every day during Emma's games. Boy, is it steep!! I'm so out of shape; I'm out of breath half way up. LOL
I used an Orangen preset for this; forgive me I can't remember who it was from..... I just love the feel it gives to the image.

Today Emma had a softball game; she did a great job & even scored a run! Way to go! It amazes me how competitive some of these parents & coaches are; I mean come on they're only 6! At least our coaches understand this is only an instructional league & they are just little kids. It's all about having fun.
I thought the sun coming through the fence was pretty cool.
